Pandora Beaumont

Pandora Beaumont was born in Paris and began ballet at the age of six. Initially a student at the École de Danse de l’Opéra de Paris, she went on to study at the École Nationale Supérieure de Danse de Marseille under the direction of Roland Petit. Back in Paris, she studied with Dominique Khalfouni and other international teachers. She received training in a variety of dance styles, including modern, contemporary, jazz, character, flamenco and baroque.
From 2005 to 2006 she perfected her skills at the Vaganova Academy in Saint Petersburg. At the same time, she undertook university studies and drama training with Jack Garfein. Subsequently, Pandora performed as a soloist with dance companies in Paris, London and Dublin, and developed her desire for choreography, particularly inspired by the neoclassical style.
2014/2015
She studied at the Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory in St. Petersburg and presented her first choreography «Clara Militch» (to S. Prokofiev’s 7th Symphony) at the Night of the Museums in 2015, followed in 2016 by the ballet «Paris - Suite Symphonique» (J. Ibert) for six dancers at the Music Hall Theater. She also took part in the feature films «Chocolat» and «Polina» that year. In 2017, she choreographed a baroque-inspired piece «Passacaille» performed at early music concerts in Saint Petersburg. At the end of the year, she created her company «Musagète».
2017/2018
Pandora moved to Germany and created the «Musique Bewegt» project with composer E. Domenech, for which she choreographed two pieces: a ballet for four dancers «Arabesque» and a duet «Alacritas». The project was presented in Weimar and Kassel. That year, she also danced her own choreographies to Soler’s «Fandango» and Pandolfi Mealli’s «Il Catalano», at the opening concert of Weimar’s «Bach Biennale» festival.
2020/2021
With the Weimar Baroque Ensemble, she took part in the «Dialogue of the Arts» concert at the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg on the theme of Antiquity (choreography to music by Rameau, Ortiz and Schmelzer). In 2021, she performed again at the Bach Biennale in the cantata «Meine Freundin, du bist schön».
2022/2023
She worked as a mouvement assistant on the opera/masque «The Triumph of Peace» - with the CRR de Paris and the PSPBB - which was presented at the Chapelle Royale de Versailles and the «Embaroquement Immédiat» festival in Valenciennes, among other venues.
2024
She took part in the concert «De l’Ombre vers la Joie», featuring works by Schubert and Dvorak at the Moulin d’Andé. She then danced Bach’s first two cello suites at the Lausitzer Musiksommer festival. Currently working on the choreography of «Aubade» to the music of Francis Poulenc.
